Let’s Talk

Consultations

We set aside time every week to talk with potential clients. During these initial conversations, we’ll have an honest dialogue with you about whether and how we can help.

        What does it cost?

There’s no charge just to see if we’re a good fit.  In order to set up a complementary call, we’ll need some basic information such as your name, who else is involved and what you’re looking to do. This allows us to run a quick conflicts check and determine whether you might actually need another type of lawyer. For example, we don’t usually take contingency cases or handle probate matters. Your information will always be kept confidential, regardless of whether you hire us, and will allow us to schedule and prepare for your call.

An initial appointment takes about 15 minutes. We’ll answer general questions about our office, our background and experience, the types of legal services that we can provide and whether those services are offered on an hourly rate with a retainer or as a flat fee. Please email us at info@breyerandrew.com to request an initial appointment.

We charge a one-hour consultation fee if you’d like to discuss one or more specific matters or questions, and get an evaluation of, or assistance with, your particular situation.

        How soon can we chat?

We typically accommodate requests within a few days and will initiate the meeting at the appointment time. We’re available either by Zoom, Skype or phone.

Payment Options & Timing

Consultations may be arranged with either cash, check, Zelle for business, Visa or MasterCard. All payments are due prior to the start of the consultation. Cancellations of consultations on less than 24 hours’ notice will only be rescheduled upon prepayment to confirm another time slot.

Representation

If you decide that we’re a good fit for your needs, representation begins only after you’ve signed a written fee agreement and paid either a retainer or flat fee, depending upon the matter. Email, calls or booking requests for initial phone appointments or consultations do not create an attorney-client relationship.  Please do not send unsolicited documents. We do not open unsolicited documents nor do they create an attorney-client relationship.

Thank you for contacting our office and we look forward to working with you.
